The primary goal of the Carolina Acceleration Sports Training Center is to provide a safe and professional
environment where athletes can learn and develop the necessary skills needed to fulfill their genetic potential
and become the most successful athlete they can be.
The Center will be able to collect scientific data to
further research in the field of sports medicine and athletic training. These advances provide competitive
athletes the means by which they may train consistently, sensibly and systematically over designated periods
of time, in a safe, clean and professional environment to help prevent injury and improve athletic
performance.
FRAPPIER ACCELERATION PROGRAM:
This specialized program is a unique six week conditioning experience designed to optimize and athlete's
speed, strength, agility, power, stride length, stride frequency, running technique, reaction time and
anaerobic endurance. The program consists of four main training regimens: a Super Treadmill,
Plyometrics, Patented Sprintcord Technology, and Weight Training.
SPORTS SPECIFIC WEIGHT TRAINING:
The two fundamental goals of strength training are to reduce specific muscular weaknesses or as a
protective measure against injury. Each athlete receives a strength-training program for competitive
sport as part of comprehensive training plan that is designed specific to the type of sport or discipline.
GROUNDBASE/SAQ TRAINING:
Speed, Agility, and Quickness training involves development of movement skills in relation to sport
specific patters (linear, lateral or vertical). SAQ training will improve speed, strength, agility and
power. SAQ training will feature step ladders, hurdle drills, linear/lateral spring drills, resistance
quickness drills, dynamic flexibility drills, cone drills, plyometrics drills and medicine ball drills.
SPORT SPECIFIC SKILL TRAINING:
CA offers Cord Programs that implement the use of various resistance cords for sport-specific training.
The use of our cord technology enhances your workouts by providing resistance to upper and lower body
extremities, building more powerful motions for sprinting, jumping, kicking, throwing, hitting, swinging
or other sport-specific motions. Cords include the SprintCords , PowerCord, ThrowingCord,
HittingCord/Harness, KickingCord
SPORTS NUITRITION CONSULTING:
Educating and providing athletes with current knowledge of nutritional and dietary factors that affects
performance (performance enhancing substances, nutritional factors, weight loss and weight gain, and eating
disorders.) C.A. partners with local nutritionists for more in depth treatment if necessary.
